A stack of graded worksheets can't tell you what three children have in common.
You can grade twenty-five sheets and know the scores by the end. Knowing that six of them made the same mistake — and that it's the same mistake as last Thursday — takes a second pass nobody has time for after nine o'clock.
LOOP does that second pass. It's not a grading robot: the score is the easy part. The part worth the machine's time is grouping the errors by the misconception behind them, and remembering which children were stuck there yesterday.
How it works
Paper in, paper out. The computer stays out of the classroom.
Children work on paper with a pencil, the way they already do. The only person who touches software is the teacher, once a morning.
One sheet per child, personalised to what that child missed — today's skill plus review of the steps they're still getting wrong. One click, one print queue.
Scan
At the end of the day the stack goes in the copier's feeder and gets sent to one address. About thirty seconds. Order and orientation don't matter — every sheet knows who it belongs to.
Read, overnight
Every answer box is read, the errors are grouped by the misconception behind them, and the morning page is waiting before the first bell — with tomorrow's sheets already queued.
When it isn't sure
We show you every box we couldn't read.
Handwriting is hard, and any system that claims otherwise is rounding. A blank or an unsure read never quietly becomes a number in LOOP.
When the reader isn't confident, the box goes on your morning page as a question with the child's actual handwriting next to it — "item 5: 7 or 1?" — and you answer it in two seconds. That's the whole correction workflow.
And when it can't say why, it doesn't. LOOP will not name a misconception it can't support from the work in front of it. You get "these four got it wrong", not a confident-sounding guess about a child's thinking.
What lands each morning

"Student names never leave your school. LOOP sees codes only."
That sentence is printed at the bottom of the teacher's morning page, and it's the literal design of the system rather than a policy we wrote afterwards. A child is C1-003 to us. The code means nothing outside the class list, and it never travels with a name.
Children have no accounts and never sign in. We hold no last names, no birthdays, no photographs of faces. There is no parent-facing product, no advertising, and no third-party analytics anywhere on this site or in the tool.
Schools have to ask harder questions than a marketing page can answer, so we wrote the long version: what we collect, where it's stored, how long we keep it, what leaves the building, and how deletion is proved rather than promised.
